Pastor Aaron (M.Div, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School) is the founder and Lead Pastor of Church of the Violet Crown (CVC) in Austin, TX (churchofthevioletcrown.com). In addition to pastoring and preaching, he hosts a series of social justice events, entitled “Let’s Talk: Productive Dialogues on Politics, Race, and Faith,” and he will also be offering a free Taleh course in Spring 2017 for the East Austin community based on this book. Dr. Michelle Reyes (Ph.D., University of Illinois at Chicago) is a part-time Assistant German Professor at Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX. She teaches courses on German language, literature, and film, and has published articles on a wide variety of subjects from the 18th century, including autobiographical writing and folk and fairy tales. Aaron and Michelle are passionate about teaching people how to better readers of God's Word. They also have a devotional website based on the Taleh approach called "The Art of Taleh" (theartoftaleh.com). They live in Austin, TX with their one-year-old son, Azariah.
